The Account Manger is responsible for managing their own sales territory. This position involves developing prospecting, servicing and nurturing a specific account base. It will be your goal to become the preferred resource for sourcing, excess andimmediate ship inventory solutions. The position requires an in-depth knowledge of this industry, unwavering commitment to excellent account service and the ability to think independently. You will be responsible for the day to day transactional sales of inventory, collection of requirements, bid lists and identification of new opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience 5 year experience in consultative, value-add selling. You will be expected to develop, prospect, service and nurture a specific account base. To succeed in the position you must be highly motivated, incrediblytenacious and self directed.

Description of Major Duties
  • Prospect for new accounts and identifying new opportunities within assigned account base
  • Performing inbound and outbound sales calls
  • Quoting prices and placing orders
  • Effectively communicate and educate customers on company’s value propositions and value-added solutions
  • Prospect for new accounts
  • Identify opportunities for our Excess supply chain solutions
  • Maintain specific data regarding all client communication within out CRM database
  • Develop all spreadsheets and reports on a timely basis
  • Manage an accurate pipeline
  • Consistently maintain and accurately update the information database.
  • Track and follow through on orders for all accounts
  • Prepare reports designated by Sales Manager within appropriate timeframe
  • Forecast accurately the business with each customer
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two year consultative sales experience. in the semiconductor/electronic component industry; including Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective presentation skills and meeting management skills
  • Ability to develop, nurture and maintain new accounts
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Thorough knowledge of sales skills, strategies and the marketplace
  • Strong word processing and spreadsheet skills
  • Some travel required
Education
  • A high school diploma and four year college degree
