This is known as the “Consignment Model”. Inventory Exchange will invest the time and its expertise in organizing, inspecting and marketing your inventory in our distribution warehouse. Essentially all our clients do is “collect a monthly check” as their inventory sells.
Here is how it works:
An Inventory Exchange representative will come to your facility to pick up the material in an Inventory Exchange vehicle. Alternatively, it can also be shipped directly to our facility, depending on the size and weight of the lot. This frees up space in your warehouse and allows Inventory Exchange to handle all the logistics and shipping. Once received at our warehouse we will inspect and catalog each line item. At that point we begin to market and advertise your inventory. Upon an accepted quote we will then pack, ship, invoice and collect payment. Ultimately, we then cut a check to our consignment partner.
